Mckinley

Sex:
Female
Age:
3 years
Weight:
39 lb.

Meet Mckinley! McKinley arrived at the Behavioral Rehabilitation Center after being rescued from a home with lots of other animals, and she is so excited to find a home to call her own! She would thrive with an adopter who enjoys fun activities and adventures as much as she does.

Big fan of: Sniffy walks! Mckinley is a playful, energetic dog who loves to play with other dogs and humans alike. Since she loves to get in the car and burn energy on long walks, she would likely make a great companion on outdoor adventures like hiking. She likes to relax too, and she is proving to be the sweetest snuggle bug on the couch!

Working on: Her confidence. Mckinley has shown some sensitivity to loud noises and can become fearful when they happen. Having a quiet place for her, such as a covered crate, could help her feel safe. She is still working on her basic obedience skills, and she is eager to learn if tasty treats are involved!

Dream home: Mckinley would love a home with a hiking and movie buff — that way, she can enjoy a good walk and then snuggle on the couch afterwards! She loves food puzzles like Kongs and would even enjoy some reward-based training games during meals. She will do well with an understanding adopter who knows that going to a new home can be scary and she may need time to settle in.

Mckinley is ready to find a home where she can be her silly self! If you appreciate a sweet dog who loves to go on an adventure and then chill on the couch, please click the “Submit an Adoption Inquiry” button to learn more about her!
