Phantom

Meet Phantom! Before coming into our care at the Behavioral Rehabilitation Center, Phantom showed a lot of fear at a busy county shelter. She has since completed treatment for her fearfulness, and this resilient girl is now ready to find a home to call her own!

Big fan of: Spending time with her favorite friends! Phantom is a playful, energetic dog who loves to play with other dogs and humans alike. She also loves going on walks, so she would likely make a great companion for outdoor adventures like hiking. While Phantom is a young energetic pup, she always finds a great balance between going on fun adventures and asking for snuggle time! She knows how nice it is to relax after burning some energy. Phantom even sprawls out on the laps of her people, hoping to be showered with their love and affection!

Working on: Her confidence. Phantom has shown some sensitivity to new people or environments. She can be a little nervous when meeting new friends, but tasty treats and going on walks are great ways to start building a relationship. She is also working on her basic obedience skills, and she is ready to learn — especially if treats are involved!

Dream home: Phantom would love a home where she can go on adventures and then crash on the couch afterwards. She loves food puzzles like Kongs and would even enjoy some reward-based training games for mealtime. She would like an understanding adopter who knows that going to a new home can be scary, and she may need time to settle in.
